Marlin Taylor

Marlin Sherman Taylor, born June 10, 1928, passed away Oct 26, 2016. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He served his country with honor in the United States Navy. He loved Alabama football, collecting matchbox cars and most of all mentoring and spending time with children. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Taylor; daughter, Renee Morrison (Jeff); sister, Ruby Swords; grandchildren, Jeremy Bearden (Jennifer), Tiffany Abel (Jason), and Haley Morrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday October 31, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The service will follow directly at 11:00 am in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home chapel. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Alzheimer's research.
