Mark Thomas

Mark Alan Thomas, 54, of Trussville passed away Dec. 15, 2015. He was a faithful Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Trussville, as well as, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of E.B. Erwin High School and proud U.S. Army veteran. After retiring from the military he continued to help others as a police officer and EMT. He was currently employed by Industrial Warehouse Service of Tuscaloosa, AL. He will be remembered for his carefree spirit and unyielding generosity to family and friends. He is survived by his parents, James Melvin Thomas and Barbara Clay Thomas; sister, Karen Thomas Hunter (Jonathan); his nephews, Clay Hunter, Jonathan Hunter, Hayden Hunter and Bryan Hunter. His funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville with visitation held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church at 12418 Hwy 91 in Hanceville, AL.
