Mark Mcwilliams

Mark Edward McWilliams, age 43 of Homewood, AL passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home with his wife, parents and sister at his bedside. He was a member of McElwain Baptist Church. He was an architect and employed with Birchfield Penuel & Associates. He was an avid Alabama fan, a fan of Formula 1 racing. He loved traveling to such places as Alaska, Costa Rica, Kenya, Paris, Italy, Greece and Colorado. Mark's hobbies included SCCA racing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Susan Roberts McWilliams; parents, Edgar K. McWilliams, Jr. and Vonnette Thompson McWilliams; sister, Lisa A. McWilliams-Ortman (Brian). Services will be on 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home Thursday. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at any Regions Bank to the Mark E. McWilliams Memorial Fund. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
