Marilyn Diane McCauley, 82, of Birmingham AL, passed away August 1, 2021 at Ascension Hospital Birmingham, AL . Marilyn was a Nurse at Tampa General Hospital for 20 years then was an owner / operator of her own transporting company. She was a devoted and nurturing mother, and proud Grandmother. We will miss her kind heart and sweet smile. She was preceded in death by her Father George B. McCauley, her Mother, Dorothy Lynn Brady and her Brother Michael McCauley. Marilyn is survived by her children: Paul E. Rimel, Cynthia Cann Pigott and Susan Cann Marshall. She had seven grandchildren; Virginia Lynn Cann, Erick P. Rimel, Jessica Hosmer McGoughy, Rebekah Rimel Jude, Jennifer Pigott Kelly, Stephanie Marshall and Syndy Marshall Moran. She had Ten Great Grandchildren; Robert Davis, Jayla Ball, Jesse Godoy, Mathew Jude, Carly Jude, Livie Jude, Justice Moran, Kasyn Moran, Ethan Frank Kelly, Jacob Beasley, Marvin Lloyd Dean and Shahla Elizabeth Dean; great great grandaughter, Melody Dean. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 6th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville AL. She will have a Graveside Service at 2:pm with burial following. Rev Dr. Yumata Jones Kelley, Pastor of Taylor Chapel AME Zion Church, Hueytown Alabama will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Wildlife Foundation, The family wishes to express special thanks to Compassus of Alabama for the loving care they provided at the end of her life.
