Marilyn Carnes

Marilyn Whittington Carnes, age 86 of Birmingham, AL, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was a member of Pinson First Baptist Church and a former member of Central Baptist Church of Tarrant for many years. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Carnes. Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl C. Ellard, Pam Herndon; grandchildren, Chris Ellard (Jana), Jeremy Ellard (Rachel), Andrea Liddle (Greg); great grandchildren, Samantha and Sydney Liddle, and Will and Trent Patterson. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 4 from 11-12:00 noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will begin at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Lester Robinson officiating followed by the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
