Marilyn Arnold

Marilyn Cecilia Hoffman Arnold, 86, of Crestline Gardens passed away Saturday May 10, 2014 at Trinity Hospital. A native of Newark, NJ, Marilyn moved to Birmingham in 1950 and had a 40 year career in the Accounting Department of Alabama Power Company, where she retired in 1990. After her retirement, she participated in the local Garden Club enjoying her love of flowers. The daughter of the late Philip George Hoffman and Emma Jorndt Hoffman, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glen Arnold of Birmingham, her son Philip Arnold of Bartlett, TN,

sister, Kay Brechin, and many nieces and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Gardens of Trussville is in charge of arrangements, and a memorial service will be held at 2pm on Weds, May 14.
