Marie Gillis

Marie S. Gillis of Center Point, AL, passed away June 24, 2012. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was the past president of the Women's Missionary Union. She is preceded in death by her husband, Burt Gillis. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Gardner of Center Point, AL and Cindy Hunter of North Port, FL; sons, Kent Gillis of Columbia, SC and John Gillis of Gulf Port, FL; sister-in-law, Elaine Kirk (Frank) of Goldsboro, NC; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, June 29, at 12:00 P M at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Ed Couey will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
