Marguerittee Field

Marguerittee Overstreet Field, age 90, passed away at her home in Trussville, on Oct. 1, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, James Reginald Field, her parents Ruth Sizemore Overstreet and Carl Allen Overstreet. She was a retired employee of Parisian for over 20 years. In her younger days, she was a Girl Scout leader, avid garden club member, a member of Eastern Star, and Ensley Christian Church. Her greatest love in life was her family. She is survived by her daughter Janneane "Jan" (Lavon) Nichols, grandchildren Jamie Nichols Whitson (Doug), Ryan Nichols, great grandchildren Zachary and Nicholas Whitson, sisters Marjorie Lawrence, Carlyn McKinney (Bill), and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 until 7pm Tuesday Oct 5th with graveside services Wednesday Oct 6, at 3pm. The Reverend Alan Head officiating. The pallbearers will be Ryan Nichols, Banks Davis, Allen Scott, Jeff Wales, Brian Harper, David Rixey, Justin Gallups and Brandon Gallups.
