Margaret Washburn

Margaret Louise Cushman Washburn of Gadsden, Alabama formerly of Cropwell, Alabama and Tarrant, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born on February 24, 1926 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Julius A. Washburn, her father, James C. Cushman and her mother, Arabelle Cushman, sisters, Maxine C. Pickens and Patsy C. Vann, brothers, Edward and Thomas Cushman. She is survived by her sister, Jamie C. Kirkland, children, Judy (Don) Womble, Bill (Mary) Washburn and Becky (Mike) Watson; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was an active member of Higher Ground Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
