Margaret Mcdade

Margaret Dobbins McDade, 94 years old, the Lord took her home on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Ridgeview Health Services in Jasper, AL, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on Nov. 1, 1922 in Kansas, AL and married Ollous C. McDade on March 29, 1941. She was happily married for 75 years to Ollous McDade and a faithful member of Primitive Baptist Church for 67 years. Margaret has been a member of Vestavia Primitive Baptist Church for the past 12 years. She is survived by her husband, Ollous McDade; brother, Robert Dobbins, of Carbon Hill, AL; sisters, Ruth Ann Cox of Adamsville, AL and Jimmie Sue Kendrick of Florence, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father John L. Dobbins; mother, Lola Woodard Dobbins; son, Richard D. McDade; brothers, Raymond Dobbins, Buddy Dobbins, Tom Dobbins; and sisters, Bertha Mitchell and Nancy Beck. Pallbearers will be Greg McDade, Gary Cole, Shannon Wilson, Mike Kendrick, Shane McDade, and Jason Kendrick. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 2pm on Thursday, with Elder Sam Bryant officiating, termination service proceeding immediately.
