Margaret English

Margaret Brooks English, 86 of Covington GA, a longtime Birmingham resident passed away on September 18, 2011. Margaret devoted her life to being the best Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother there was, she was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Harold T. English, owner of Trio Oil Company. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela "Pam" George (Bill) of Covington GA; special son, Richard English of Covington GA, Ronnie English of Calera and Keith English of Jemison; two sisters, Lucille Fisher of Sacramento CA and Betty Black of Charleston SC; 9 grandchildren, including two devoted grandsons, David and Shaye McTyeire; 12 great grandchildren; dear special lifelong friend, Ann Huffstutler; special nephew and great friend, Cecil "Sonny" Johnson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services starting at 2:00 PM with Pastor Allan Murphy officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
