Margaret “Teet” Adderhold Edwards, 84, of Panama City Beach, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was born November 18, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama. Margaret was an active member of her church and taught Sunday school. She loved spending time with her family and being in the kitchen. The kitchen was never closed in her home and she was known for making the most amazing brownies. Margaret had such a big heart. She loved others unconditionally and always put the needs of others before her own. She lived her life as she defined JOY. (Jesus, others, then yourself)
She was preceded in death by her father, Archibald “Clyde” Adderhold, Sr.; mother Ruth Black Adderhold; brother, Archibald Clyde Adderhold, Jr.; sisters, Montez Weston, Patricia Butts, and Tommye Fowler; daughter, Vicki Edwards; and husband of 66 years Max Nelson Edwards, Sr. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Max “Nelson” Edwards, Jr. (Kathy) and Clyde Lee Edwards, Sr. (Kelle); grandchildren, Ashley Battles (Eli), Natalie Patrick (David), Lauren Howell (John), Lee Edwards (Carly), Mark Edwards (Morgan), Ramey Edwards, Schuyler Buckner (Meredith), and Shea Buckner (Ryleigh); great grandchildren, James and Lilah Patrick, Emily and Sarah Grace Edwards, and Libby Howell; sister, Frances Williams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Panama City Beach. The family will be welcoming friends at 10:00 AM for a visitation time, one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. The family will also be having a visitation time at 10:00 AM one hour prior to the graveside service.
