Malcom Wilson

Malcom Dean Wilson (UGH), age 79, of Gardendale, Al, died March 19, 2009 at home surrounded by family & friends. He was born Oct 30, 1929, the son of the late Issac & Fannie Wilson. He was of Baptist Faith. He attended old Jefferson County High School. During the Koren War he served in the Army for 2 years. He retired from ACIPO in March 1990 with 35 1/2 years known as "UGH." He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Adele Barnes Wilson. Survivors include sons, Lane Wilson (Donna), Scott Wilson (Donna), Ken Wilson, Todd Wilson (Teresa). Grandchildren, Jana Miller (Shane), Brooke, Brittney, Jason & Allison Wilson, Nicholas & Amanda Tolbert. Great grandchildren, Jesse Miller & Jack Franklin. Sister, Sue McGuier, brother, Thurman (Fuzzy) Wilson, brother-in-law, Harvey Barnes & many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Giles & J.R. Wilson, sister Mildred Cook. Thanks to all the caregivers at Alacare Home Health & Hospice, a special thanks to Ashley Watley, Denice McClendom & Brenda Howard for,their love & care.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home-East. Services will be held on Saturday, March 21,2009 at 2:00PM with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
