A favorite verse was Philippians 2:3 which speaks of putting others first. She served faithfully in the choir and kitchen at East Lake Alliance Church and in the kitchen at Vestavia Alliance Church for many years. Many were blessed by her creativity and generosity in making and decorating cakes for bridal teas and baby showers.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice staff: Jeanie, Deniseia, Deloris, Denise, Jessica and Damien for their loving care to her in her final days.
