Madge Deneke

Madge Rotton Deneke, age 95, of Birmingham, passed away on May 2, 2017. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Center Point. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nelson Deneke; her sisters, Betty Sazera, and Annie Sue Rogers; her brother, Robert O. Rotton; and her daughter-in-law, Patricia Pugh Deneke; and her niece, Jacky Stancil. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Johns, and Frieda Lincoln (David); her son, Thomas Nelson Deneke; her grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson (David), Michelle Miller (David), Andrew Deneke (Becca), Kyle Deneke (Alima), Will Deneke (Erin), Jesse Lincoln (Niki), Daniel Lincoln (Katy), and Kim Poulos (Matthew); 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5, at 2pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to East Central Alabama United Cerebral Palsy, 415 Castle Ave, Anniston, AL 36205 or to First Baptist Church of Center Point.
