Machelle L. McMurray

Chelle McMurray, 54, of Pinson, Alabama, passed away on January 12, 2024, in her hometown. Born on September 6, 1969, in Pinson, Chelle was known for her warm heart, vibrant personality, and love for her family and pets. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Chelle is survived by her son, Bradley Hand, and his family Shelby, Kyla, Kaden, and Kayna, as well as her son Michael Toole. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann Crowe and Jean Washington, and her nephews, Will Crowe, Briar Crowe, and Marcus Turner, and their respective families. Chelle was a beloved aunt to her great-nieces, Ashton and Ada, and great-nephew, Collin Turner. Her cherished pets, Coco, Mia, and Sassy, were always by her side.

Chelle had a fulfilling career in the retail industry, working at Western Supermarket from 2007 to 2019 and Piggly Wiggly from 2019 until her passing in 2024. She was dedicated to providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with her colleagues and customers.

Outside of work, Chelle enjoyed various hobbies, including scrapbooking, going to the beach, and exploring the mountains. She also found excitement in occasional gambling trips to Wetumpka with her friends.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Chelle's life will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, Alabama. The funeral home assisting with the arrangements is Jefferson Memorial, located in Trussville as well.

Chelle McMurray will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
