Mabeline Algenia Friday

Mabeline Algenia "Genia" Friday age 76 of Warrior, AL passed away February 26, 2021.
She loved the Lord and was a member of Mount High Baptist Church.
She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1961.
She received her cosmetology license and worked as a cosmetologist in Birmingham and Trussville, AL.
She owned Rugby Style Shop in East Lake, Alabama for many years.
After 61 years of doing cosmetology she retired from Southern Hairatage, LLC Beauty Salon in Trussville, AL June 19, 2020.
She loved her loyal customers, coworkers and friends in the beauty world.
Genia loved reading, cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Above all she loved her family.
If there ever was an angel here on Earth, it would be Genia.
Genia is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Lauvelle Friday, Sr.
She is also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Kenny" Lauvelle Friday, Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Algie Daniel  Stover and Bessie Maybee Stover, and a brother James Ronald Stover.
She is survived by her sons Kip Lee Friday (Lisa) and Kevin Dale Friday (Martinique).
She is also survived by her grandchildren Kayla Sharee Friday, Austin Chase Friday, Colton Laird Friday and Luke Ryan Friday.
She is also survived by her siblings Daniel Jay Stover and Kenneth Dale Stover; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews,
cousins and many friends.
Funeral service will be on Thursday March 4th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 AM in the Chapel.
Rev, Dan Nichols will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Her burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
Pallbearers will be Chase, Colton and Luke Friday, Gary White, Barry Matthews, Keith Lisle, Brandon Fuller.
