Mabel Mcclusky

Mabel B. McClusky passed away on April 10, 2012 at the age of 91. Mrs. McClusky was born in DeKalb County and moved when she was 10 years old to Jefferson County where she lived for the remainder of her years. She was a 5th grade teacher at Erwin Elementary School for many years. Mrs. McClusky was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and an active member in the UMW. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. McClusky and son, Bernard B. McClusky. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Howell (Karl), daughter-in-law, Ann McClusky; and grandchildren, Stephanie and Katie Howell and Grace McClusky. Visitation will be Sunday, April 15 from 12 - 2PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2PM and burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
