STAMPS, LUTHER H. Age 87, of Center Point, AL went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elmira C. Stamps; three children, daughter, Betty Stamps Reeves; sons, William (Janet) and Charles (Melody); one brother, George (Willodean); four grandchildren; four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He served our country as a paratrooper in WWII and was honorably discharged. He was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Center Point for 38 years. Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Bro. Bobby Earls will be officiating. We want to thank Hope Hospice nurses and staff for all they did to make our loved one comfortable. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
