Garmon, Lovella L., 75, passed away at her home on June 27th, 2012 surrounded by her family, after a long battle with leukemia. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Granny, Sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Susie Mae Leeth, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and her daughter Kim G. Cullen. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her husband of 53 years, John C. Garmon; daughters Karen G. Singleton (Jerry), Cheryl G. Tombrello (Charles) and Reba G. Duffin; grandchildren, Shauna McLeroy (Joseph), Jonathan Garner, Savannah, Nathaniel and Laura Cullen, Chase and Kimberlyn Tombrello and Dylan Duffin. One Great Grandson, Landon McLeroy; Sister Mary Pannell (Aubrey) and Brother Winfred Leeth(Betty Lou) along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A special family that she loved, Desmane and Stacy Jones and their children, also long time friends Virginia Beane, Reba Sides and Ruth Holland. Lovella worked at South Central Bell, St. Martins in the Pines and Skate Haven, where she was loved by all, she was know there as Mom or Granny. Everybody that came to her home knew that she was going to make a batch of boiled cookies, biscuits, cornbread or some special cake, and her love of flowers, she always had something blooming in her yard or rooting inside. Everything she did was for someone else to enjoy. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will always be missed by her family and everyone else that she met throughout her life. The family would like to express a huge "thank you" to New Beacon Hospice Nurse Vicki Allums, Social Worker, Mary Agricola and Chaplain Denise Jacks, for being so sweet to our Momma and hope you enjoy the flowers that she gave to you and that they remind you of her as they begin to bloom, We love you! Momma we will miss you more than words could ever express!! Our hearts are forever broken. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2 pm on Saturday with Chaplain Denise Jacks officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
