Louise Loveless Thomas, died peacefully at Fair Haven Assisted Living on November 6, 2010 at the age of 92. Born on April 8, 1918 to Earl Armstrong and Maude Estes Loveless. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jimmy) L. Thomas; her parents, brothers, J.B. and Albert Loveless; sisters, Lula Van Horsley and Ethel Green; son-in-law, Randal Holmes. She is survived by a son, James L. Thomas, Jr. (Arlene); daughter, Judy Holmes; three grandchildren, Debra Thomas, Thomas R. and Elizabeth Holmes; four great grand children, Cannon and Asa Homes, Michelle and Michael Thomas; sister, Mildred Sorrell; brother, Elton (Buck) Loveless; four step-grandchildren, Pam Moore, Gina Williams (Alan), Kim Dudley (Rick), Shae Farmer (Chris); eight step great grandchildren, Nicole, Tiffany, Stoie, Blake, Savannah, Billy, Ashton, Ashlyn and many loving nieces and nephews. She made a home for her family in Palmerdale, AL for many years until she moved to Decatur AL in 2003 and then to Fair Haven Assisted Living in 2007. Visitation will be held at 12:00PM Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home followed by Graveside services at 1:00 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, Trussville.
