Lorraine Grammer

Lorraine Booth Grammer, age 90 died peacefully from a brave fight with cancer. She is formerly of Sumiton and a longtime member of Sumiton Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Grammer, parents, Mr. and Mrs. JT Booth, sister, Marie, and brothers, Jack, Glenn, and Earl. She is survived by her son, Jerry Grammer (Rita); daughters, Barbara Smith (Jack), Patsy Shipman (Jim), and Jan McCracken; brother, David Booth (Calleen); sister, Frances Painter (Gene); 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Services will be on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Randy Booth will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
