Lorena Dixon

Lorena "Peggy" Brown Dixon passed away on January 21, 2017 at the age of 102. She was a member of Mt. Vernon UMC in Gardendale. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High school and longtime residence of Jefferson County. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald M. Dixon. She is survived by her loving son, Charles "Sonny" Dixon (Jimmie); grandchildren, Ronnie (Kathy) Dixon, Connie Everett (Ronnie) and Tammy Flowers (Kirk); great grandchildren, Ronni Roye, Jimmie Amick (Josh), Jae Skinner (David), Lindsey Buse (Jonathan), Sydney Reddoch (Malcolm) and Brett Cole (Jake); great-great grandchildren, Mychal Roye, Dixon Roye, Asa Skinner, Jude Skinner, Titus Skinner and Charlie Amick. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville on Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Jefferson Memorial funeral home. Brother Mike Irons is officiating.
