Lonnie Cummings

Lonnie Wayne Cummings, of Trussville passed away at the age of 70 on June 30, 2009. Wayne was a long time member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Jacksonville State University and President of the local Birmingham Chapter Alumni Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Leslie Cummings of Haleyville, AL. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, LeaAnn Cummings Clements (David) and Suzanne Cummings Wildmon (Wes); one brother, Wendell S. Cummings (Carolyn); six grandchildren, Heather M. Clements, Adam W. Clements, Mia N. Clements, Noah J. Clements, Parker W. Wildmon, and Carson B. Wildmon; one great grandson, Kaden M. Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1 from 6:00 i�½" 8:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Thursday, July 2 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Brian Branam officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
