Lois Beck

Lois Jones McClendon Beck, age 82, of Trussville, passed away July 20, 2009 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Isabel Beatrice Thomas Jones and Robert Felton Jones, husbands Orland D. McClendon, Benford A. Beck, siblings Peggy Scott, Robert H. Jones, Geneva Riggins, and stepdaughter Doris Beck Elsky. She is survived by her son James Ronald (June) McClendon of Trussville, son in law Johnny Elsky, grandchildren Veronica Christopher, Rebecca (Rick) Hamby, John Elsky, Joey (Melanie) Elsky, Ian McClendon, Carrie McClendon (John) Eaves, great grandchildren Ashley Smith, James Hamby, Cheyenne Soloman, Josiah Elsky, Samuel Elsky, Kirstin Elsky, great great grandson Tristan Smith, several nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday July 22, at 2pm in Jefferson Memorial's Chapel with burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville. Visitation will be from 1 until 2pm Wednesday.
