Linn Richards

Linn Fowler Richards, 57, of Pinson passed away August 7, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his son Eric Richards. Linn was a devoted

husband and father. He is survived by wife Debra Richards, daughter

Andrea Burrell (Scott), sons Adam Richards, and Alex Powell (Emily).

He is survived by his mother Mona Richards and father Harold Richards

(Suzanne); sisters Teresa Jacobs (Paul), Rhonda Lother (Bill), and

Mandy Chandler (Scott); grandchildren Chase Richards, Ellie Burrell, Jack,

Melody and Charlie Powell.

A 28 year employee of Kmart, he managed stores in Alabama and South Carolina

before changing professions. Continuing his education he achieved a new career

as a Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser and practiced until his first

major illness in 2010.

The family would like to thank all the church pastors, parishioners, and friends

for all their prayers and well wishes over the difficult last four years. A very special

thanks to his loving and gracious caretaker Vevlyn Logan ; he loved her very much.

God bless brother-in-law DeWayne Mabry and sister-in-law Marsha Boykin (Coyett)

for their great strength and assistance.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 12 th from 5-7 P.M. at Trussville Jefferson Memorial with memorial service to follow officiated by Rev. Dewey Corder. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
