Linda White

Linda White, of Pinson, AL, passed away at the age of 69 on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Birmingham, AL after a 3-year battle with ovarian cancer. Linda was born on July 18, 1953, in Birmingham, AL to Charles & Lillian Farris. She married her husband, Michael White of Pleasant Grove, AL, on September 22, 1973. Linda spent most of her life being a homemaker, wife to Mike, raising her hair-brained daughter, Rebecca, enjoying her family, her music, singing and playing the guitar. She was crazy, unexpectedly silly, and funny. She was the aunt that played sports out in the yard, played guitar, doodled on everything, even her daughter's math homework. Linda was vivacious, loved music, loved God was just slightly stubborn. She loved her family and her dog, Minnie. Linda made life-long friends with her God-given talents Linda is survived by her husband, Michael White, daughter Rebecca (Thad) Jones, her two grandchildren Lily & Ephrem, her brother, Ronnie (Kay) Farris, sister-in-law, Diane Farris, sister-in-law Susan White Brannon, brother-in-law, John A. White, as well several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Charles Farris; her mother, Lillian Copeland Farris; her brother Glenn Farris. The service for Mrs. Linda White will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2022, at 2 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, Birmingham, AL.
