Linda Parker

Linda Jean Parker, age 77 of Trussville, AL passed away on February 14, 2015. She was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the church choir. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Bettie Parker and Joy Gibson and her husband, Taylor Gibson. She is survived by her niece, Gail Gibson; nephew, Don Gibson (Danielle); great niece, Kala Gibson; great nephews, Chris Gibson (Sarah) and Wyatt, Graham and Owen Gibson. Services will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. David Comer will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Avondale UMC organ fund, 500 South 40th Street. Birmingham, AL 35222.
