Lillian Francis

Lillian Geneva Francis, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed into eternity Sunday Feb. 22, 2009 to join her Lord and Saviour and son, David. Geneva was born August 27, 1931 to Marvin and Carrie Bales. She has been a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church since 1962 and worked with the bed babies, which she so dearly loved, since 1964. She was preceded in death by her son: David Samuel Francis, sister: Ruth Kirby, brothers: Marvin Bales, John Bales, and Charles (Norma) Bales. She is survived by her devoted husband Samuel Ellis Francis, daughter: Linda (Millard) Green and daughter-in-law: Beverly Harlow; sister: Louise Wise; sisters-in-law: Dottie Bales, Chris Bales, and Betty Francis; grandsons: Dwain Francis, Dan (Lauren) Francis, and Sean Francis; granddaughter: Misti Patterson; great grandsons: David Austin Francis and Reagan Patterson; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, February 23, 2009 from 5-7:00PM. Reverend Brian Brannan will preside over the Graveside service held in Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
