Lillian Camp

d. December 19, 2014

Lillian Estelle Camp "Gran Gran" died on December 19, 2014. Estelle was born in Hanceville, AL on February 23, 1920. She lived and worked in the Cullman, AL area, married in 1941 and moved to Birmingham, AL in 1946. Estelle loved the LORD, was a wonderful Christian and always looked forward to attending and working in church: Ninth Ave. Baptist Church, 1946-1955 where she worked in the Children's Dept. and sang in the choir; South Roebuck Baptist Church, 1955 -2005 she sang in the choir, worked in the Nursery Dept. with bed babies for 40 plus years, and was on numerous committees. Presently, member at North Valley Church-Chapel. She read her Bible, Christian literature, and books daily and in her latter years would love to share what she had read if you were in her presence. The disease eventually cluttered her thoughts and mind until she was unable to go anywhere or to understand what she read. The family of Estelle Camp is truly grateful to Tamela Henley for her professional expertise and loving care of our mother over the past 2 A½ years with here care-taking ability. Tamela has established a wonderful home to care for the elderly. Estelle was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford B. Camp (Betty); daughter, Judith Ann Ellis (Barry); granddaughters, Suzanne Stalnaker, Liza Marshall, Christi Moore; grandsons, Steve Camp, Derek Camp, Barry Ellis, Jason Camp, Jeremy Camp; great-grandchildren, 9 boys and 4 girls.
