Lewis Stuman

Lewis Burt Stuman, age 63, of Springville, passed away December 28, 2017. He was a deacon at Hilldale Baptist Church and was currently a member at NorthPark Baptist. Burt was retired from Allstate Insurance with 30 years of service to his customer whom he loved. He was a Gideon who loved serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father James William Stuman and brother Steve Stuman. Services will be held on Sunday, Dec 31, at 3pm at NorthPark Baptist Church with visitation from 2pm until 3pm Sunday. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy Stuman, sons Bill (Meleigha), Eric (Katie), Brian (Misty), mother Peggy Watts, sister Becky Umphrey (Bobby), Beth Pace (Roland), grandchildren Logan, Allie, Luke, Emily, Grant, and Claire, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and Jessica Sharpton of the HTICU at UAB, St Vincent's Home Health, and Comfort Care hospice for their care of Burt.
