Lewis Greene

Lewis Eugene Greene, age 54 of Riverside passed away on January 17, 2009. Lewis graduated from Banks High School in 1972 and then from Samford University in 1993. He was a former Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy and then retired as a Sergeant from Mountain Brook Police Department in 1999. Lewis leaves behind a great legacy of morals and truth and will be remembered as a loving man with a sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Karen Arrowood Greene; children, Jeff Greene (Michelle), William Greene, Lesli Miller Pearson (Dennis) and Kaci Miller Williams (Jeff); one sister, Linda Greene Markham (Wayne) and grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Greene, Karli Rae Williams, Ella Rae Pearson Northcutt, Ryan H. Lewis Greene, and Lexi Marie Williams and many other loving friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20 from 5-8PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday at 10AM with Rev. Dale Foote officiating and burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
