Leslie H. Triplett, age 74, of Ashville, AL passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ashville; where served as a Sunday school teacher. Leslie served as a Sargent for the Birmingham Police Department for 23 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with family and visiting Cades Cove, particularly, because of their chocolate ice cream. Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sandy Triplett; his daughter, Leslie Triplett Howard and her husband, David Howard, Sr.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. The burial will follow the service at Tenbroeck Baptist Cemetery in Fyffe, AL on County Road 43. Pastor George Maronge and Dr. James Sampley will officiate over the services. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
