Lela K Holloway

Lela Keeffe Holloway, of Trussville, AL, passed away on September 26, 2018. Born in Andalusia, AL, on December 2, 1922, Lela was the second child of Robert
and Annie Lou Keeffe. She married John H. Holloway, Jr. in 1946, and together they raised four children, all who survive her, Dr. John H. Holloway, III (Janet), Sara Fox (Larry), Susan Glass (Johnny) and Robert O. Holloway. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Bynum (Russell), Joanna Holloway and John H. Holloway, IV, her great grandsons, Jackson and Jacob Bynum, and her sister Helen Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, James Keeffe. Lela was a long-time member of Huffman United Methodist Church. Lela cared deeply for her family who will miss her and remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 1:00 with visitation preceding at 12:00.
