Lawrence Meadows

Lawrence Phillip "PoPaw" Meadows, of Pinson, passed away September 18, 2011. He was retired from Chrysler Automotive with 35 years of service. He was a member of Church of the Highlands, owner of P. M. Janitorial Service and loved fishing. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserve and was involved with the church bus ministry in Indiana. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sherri Lynn Meadows, parents Durwood and Helena Meadows and brother Gregory Meadows. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Jacque Meadows, daughters Stacy Davis (Dr. John), son Derrick Meadows, sisters Jody Meadows, Donna Berry, brother Jack Meadows, aunt Edith Stafford, granddaughters Hannah McCay, Madison McCay, and Eternity Meadows, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Highlands Dream Center. Services will be on Wednesday Sept 21 at 7pm in the Chapel with visitation from 5 until 7pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
