Lawrence Doty

Lawrence C. Doty, age 70, of Argo, AL met his heavenly Father on October 29, 2015. Mr. Doty was a former residence of Leeds, AL and Graduated from Leeds High School. Mr. Doty grew up attending Pentecostal Holiness Church in Leeds, AL, where the foundation of his faith began and continued to grow throughout his life. Mr. Doty is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Judy Doty; his step-son, Larry Dunaway (Glenna), of Nashville, AR; step-daughter, Rhonda Clements, of Trussville, AL; three grandchildren, Carolanne Dunaway, Curtis Dunaway and Summer Dae Clements; two brothers, Billy Doty and Donald Doty, of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Barbara Gibson and Joyce Cotton, of Houma, LA; one nephew and four nieces. "He was a loving and devoted husband, parent and grandfather. He truly was a man of God and will be greatly missed." The funeral for Mr. Doty will be at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 3rd at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow the service at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville's adjoining cemetery.
