Lawrence Bartlett

Lawrence M. "Larry" Bartlett, age 67 of Morris, AL, passed away January 19, 2013. He was a 1964 graduate of Anniston High School. Retired from BellSouth, Mr. Bartlett loved to travel in his RV and spend time with family, especially with his wife, grandchildren, and his group of friends known as "The Critters". He also enjoyed gardening and walks in the woods, and he loved his dog, Murfee and calico cat, Emma Mr. Bartlett was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Bartlett, Sr. and Frances Griffin Bartlett of Talladega. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, LaJean Mahler Bartlett; son, Michael Bartlett; grandchildren, Micah and Makenzi Bartlett; daughter of his heart, Misti Bartlett; and his brother, Henry W. "Hank" Bartlett, Jr. (Pat). Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, January 22, 2013 from 5 until 7 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the chapel at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Michael Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
