Laura Parsons

Laura Knight Parsons, age 88, of Remlap, AL, went home to be with her Lord on September 19, 2011. Mrs. Parsons was a precious, devoted wife and mother who loved her church and Sunday School class. She had a great love for the Lord which she demonstrated by her Christian ministry. Her desire was to see the lost saved and she never let an opportunity pass without witnessing to everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Sealy (Bob) and Linda Brown (Garry); grandchildren, Christa Sealy Vandiver (Michael) and Jonathan Sealy; she is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Whitney, Jenna, Pierce, and Tyler. Funeral services for Mrs. Parsons will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 - 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Remlap or to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
