Laura Mardis Allison left this life on Saturday, December 14, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold D. Mardis. She is survived by her husband, Robert Allison; mother, Sharon Richerson Mardis; children, Kristina Eason (DJ), Annie Joiner (Chris), Jeffrey Allison (Karly) , Brian Allison (Shari) and Kenny Allison; sisters, Regina Gwin (Arnold), Pam Baker and Kristin Griffin (Doug). She was always pleased and blessed to tell everyone she had 13 grandchildren that she adored: Mark, Seth, Brayden, Collin, Caysen, Brianna, Brooklyn, Haylie, Cayleigh-Ann, Taron, Caroline, Kayla and Keira. Her sense of humor, kindness and vastness of her heart will be ingrained in our lives forever and we will be better for having known and loved her. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6PM until 8PM. A graveside service for Laura will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 Mardis Cemetery in Springville, AL. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
