Larry Perry

Mr. Larry "Rick" Perry, age 66, of Collierville, TN formerly of Trussville, AL died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Panama City, FL. Rick was a former employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad for more than 20 years, a successful business owner/ entrepreneur, he was the former owner of Rick's Pools in Trussville, AL, former owner of Importers Warehouse in Memphis, TN and owner of Rick's Imports in Collierville, TN. He was a fan of Auburn Football, loved his family, grandchildren and friends. He loved traveling to Panama City, FL and Denver, CO. Christmas was his favorite holiday. Some of Rick's favorite foods were Mac-n-Cheese, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Krispy Kreme Donuts. The most special event in his life was the birth of his children and grandchildren. Rick's hobbies were watching Auburn Football, remodeling his home and shopping at Home Depot.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cynthia Morgan Perry; two daughters, Ginger Perry and Cristy Perry Sneed ; two grandchildren, Grayson Perry and Caroline Sneed; two sisters, Peggy Pate and Johnnie Kyle; one brother, Jack Perry. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Billy Elder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in the Last Supper Mausoleum.
