Lana Spencer

Lana Aleta Brown Spencer, 66, of Birmingham AL, went home to be with Jesus on March 1, 2018. She is survived by her children Sherry R. Granger and Matthew H. Spencer, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, siblings Gary A. Brown, Sr. and Linda G. Thompson. She is preceded in death by both parents Carlos Crowe Brown and Louise Dodd Brown and one son David W. Stringfellow. Lana received her Business Administration degree at Falkner University of AL. Lana had a successful business ministry providing in home care and she was an amazing woman to know. She could have a conversation with anyone and always knew the right scripture or thing to say. She was a Godly woman who loved everyone. She has helped so many people over the years. Many have said that Lana never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed but remembered. She made a difference. Memorial services will be held at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 2:00pm.
