Kathryn Davies, of Birmingham, AL passed away at the age of 85 on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was a native of Rogersville, AL and graduate of West End High School. She later attended Auburn University. Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James Samuel Davies, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Dee Davies Abreu and her fianceI�, Ken Burchanan; son, James Samuel Davies, Jr. and his wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Vanessa Abreu, Robert Abreu and Heather Davies Pinkham and her husband, Phil; great grandchildren, Sam Pinkham and Mary Frances Pinkham. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Sally Allocca and Reverend Tom Parrish are officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
