Kim was a beautiful, sassy, loving woman. She graduated from Tarrant High School in 1983. She was a tremendously loved and hardworking mother of three children: Chris, Josh, and Abigail. She was the world's greatest Mimzi to her three beautiful granddaughters: Hayden, Emersyn, and Autumn who cherished her dearly. She worked in nursing home administration for the majority of her life, where she shared her light and love with the elderly, she had a servant's heart. Her personality was one of a kind. Her beautiful smile would light up an entire room. She loved flower gardening, crafting, and watching the birds fly every morning. She was a warrior who fought long and hard against Metastatic Breast Cancer for six long years, but she did not let the cancer define her. She got up every single day with the intention of living her life to the absolute fullest. May her strength and light live on through us as we carry her legacy into the future. "It is well with my soul".
Kim is preceded by her parents Ralph and Jeanette Pruitt Farley. She leaves behind her children, Chris (Lindsey), Josh Garrison and Abigail Street; sister, Vickie Neny; brother, Robert Farley (Susan), grandchildren, Hayden Garrison, Emersyn Street, and Autumn Garrison; last but not least her support dog GoodBoy.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a celebration of Kim’s life to follow in the chapel at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
Kim had a love for flowers, so flower tributes are encouraged in her honor.
