Kerry Dixon

Kerry F. Dixon, age 75 of Center Point, AL passed away on February 18, 2016. He was of Methodist Faith. He was on the Planning and Zoning Commission with the city of Center Point and he was involved with the design of Reed-Harvey Park. He retired as President from Watkins Engineering Consultant, Inc. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army Reserve. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ilah Gee and Arthur W. Dixon and his brothers, Charles and Arthur Dixon. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Delores R. "Dee" Dixon; children, Greg Dixon (Cheri) and Dana Simrell (Danny); sister, Hope Brown (Roy); grandchildren, Dalton Simrell, Tanner Dixon, Shelby Dixon, Natalie Simrell, Camryn Dixon, Alandra Simrell, Garret Dixon and Morgan Dixon; several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Trull Hill will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
