Kermit Bailey

Kermit Jackson Bailey, age 82, of Springville, AL died suddenly Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He served in Law Enforcement for 15 years but his real joy was building beautiful things as a rock mason. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Jeanette; 4 daughters, Linda Rutledge of Chelsea, Sharon (Danny) Bird, Tammy Bailey of Springville, and Connie Van Horn who preceded him in death; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Melvin Bailey and sister, Louise Lockley of Birmingham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00AM with a memorial service following at 2:00PM at Straight Mountain Mennonite Church. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
