Kenneth Cook

Kenneth Earl Cook, age 66, of Ohatchee, AL unexpectedly passed away on Friday, October, 30, 2015. Kenneth attended Banks High School and was a long-time member of Eden UMC. Kenneth was an electrical contractor for R&T Electric. He was also known as, "Rufus T. Raspberry" on WTDR Radio in Oxford, AL. He was a Master Mason with the Ben Jacobs Lodge #643. Kenneth was not a man with idol hands; he enjoyed staying busy and helping others. He was a devoted husband, caring father, grandfather and brother. Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Carol Cook; sons, Michael Cook and Matt Cook (Alaina); brothers, Ray Cook, Johnny Cook (Dawn) and William Cook; sisters, Kelly Boyle (Craig) and Annette Walker (James); one grandson, Ty Cook; he also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, November 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral for Kenneth will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow. Brother Randy Hagan is officiating.
