Kava East

Mrs. Kava Tindal East of Birmingham was born into a family of one brother and four sisters on April 1, 1917. She passed away on September 11, 2008 at the age of 91. Mrs. East was a longtime, faithful member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Cahaba Heights. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 1PM with funeral services beginning at 2PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Cahaba Heights with Pastor Barry Bruce officiating. Burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. Mrs. East was preceded in death by her husbands, R. Leland Tindal and T. Leonard East. Survivors include her sons, Travis Tindal (Rosalyn) of Jacksons Gap; her daughter, Angelyn T. Lamb (Michael)of Tuscaloosa; one sister, Theresa Pierce of Greenville; five grandchildren, Travis Tindal Jr., Mark Tindal, Lee Tindal, Jay Lamb, and Neal Lamb and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. East's five grandsons and son in law will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Travis Tindal III, Matthew Tindal, Justin Tindal, Hunter Lamb and Colton Lamb.
