Katherine Brown

Lura Katherine Stroud Brown, age 82 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 1, 2009. She was a charter member of Huffman Presbyterian which is now Grace Presbyterian. She also served in the Women of the Church and taught children's choir. She held various offices of the WAAIME. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Brown. She is survived by her children, William Moss Brown (Patricia), Katherine Lee Miller (Bill), and Georganne Brown; grandchildren, George Kurt Brown (Amber), Debbie Spoonmore (Steve), Lisa Anderson (Jeff), Todd Miller (Jennifer), and Keith Miller (Mandy), and Tara Walhart; 18 great grandchildren. Services will be Friday, December 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Dr. Mark Cushman will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Anna's Angel Fund, P.O.
