Karl E. Pugh Sr.

Mr. Karl E. Pugh Sr., 87, of Birmingham passed away on January 8, 2019. Karl retired from C.B.I. after 30 years as Maintenance Supervisor and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and was an avid golfer. Karl is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Pruitt Pugh; son, Richard Pugh; grandchild, Blake Pugh; and parents, Berlin P. Pugh and Katie Gaston Pugh. He is survived by his wife, Loraine Maxwell Pugh; son, Karl Pugh Jr. (Debbie); daughters, Elizabeth Golden and Debra Birmingham; step-son, Ronnie Maxwell (Betty); step-daughters, Gail Lindsey (Brian) and Vilinda Powell (Ronnie); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin from the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm with Dr. Richard Trader officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
