June Battles

June Glaze Battles, age 89, of Birmingham passed away on January 27, 2019. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church, now Palmerdale Cross. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lesley Stanford Battles; and her second husband, Judge Milton King. She is survived by her children, L. Craig Battles (Pam), Pam Battles Lee (Ed), Kenneth W. Battles, Sr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Matthew Battles, Meredith Battles Mejia (Geraldi), Jamie Lee Morales (Alfredo), Harrison Lee, Stuart Lee (Randi), Amanda Berry (Kyle), Wade Battles (Mikayeln); her great-grandchildren, Reece, Trace, and Kristanna Battles, Maylee and Max Mejia, Abigail and Maggie Morales, Levi and Houston Lee, Hannah and Easton Lee, Owen, Nora, and Charlotte Berry, and Sophia Battles. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1 at 2 pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
